The bracket I was in had La Habra and Cathedral so my 1200 game was cancelled. I went to Field 6 and then 8 after lunch. Narbonne got smoked by SJB and hated me. Both said I was too aggressive blah, blah, blah blah, blah but when you won't listen the first 6 times, yea, then I get to yell "outta the box, Coach" even though you are a 54 year old man. They STILL don't get it .. pretty sure one kids or maybe a Dad call me the n-word and I guess got offended when I ignored him. Coaches and coach dads in my ear all day ... these dudes are in mid-season form. Big learning day for some of our newer (1-3 year guys) with the intensity from this tourney.

Cathedral of SD ran their wing T offense,,,,,,and couldn’t score n a 1st and goal vs Edison,,,,,doubt they throw 4 times in a real game,,,,kudos to them for knowing who they are,,,, had some serious dudes that look like they could run the rock.....

MD won it with a 4th string QB, Toby Schmidt. A player I had no idea who he was. Like many more people, I do now. He executed a great game plan.

Dudes is right. Their guys looked amazing. I don’t know how good they are but they’ll be intimidating getting off the bus. I saw Narbonne as well. As far a officials mechanics, the zebra closest to the camera was the only one that got it correct ... stay the hell out of the way. Once people enter the field, it's done, step back take numbers/descriptions. Before that, at least from my afternoon experience, I heard/saw coaches smack talking the kids and vice versa in my two playoff bracket games as well as disparage me and my crew. Some staffs are abysmal examples of sportsmanship ... even in a nothing 7-on-7 tourney. smdh

7v7 is serious business for some of these has-beens
We had a coach that would lose his temper, insult opposing teams/coaches/players constantly at these 7v7 events. He didn't last long.
