Was there a consolation bracket at Mission Viejo? I noticed J. Serra, like in the Edison tourney, didn't make the championship bracket again. Are they overrated? I doubt it. They will be better in real football, I believe. Jserra is not built for 7v7. They even admit it. They lost on a last play hail mary (40 yard) in the last game. I think it was against Narbonne (??). They got destroyed in the 1st game of the day, i think it was against St. Paul. Should not have happened. They will be fine. That McMillan kid is the good. General Booty was just off for the entire day. He even said it. The offense is completely different with Street in there. And with that mammoth o-line, they will do big things. They really are built for '21. |

The next six were in the Silver, and the bottom six in the Bronze. You know, every kid has to get a medal. |

Anyone know how to get one of the standings or bracket result sheets...? Interesting to see how everyone else faired.., so hard to follow so many teams in one day, certainly some I wanted to check out like #15  @bick is LA going to the Huntington Tourney next week? |

It also looks like the 1st round Gold Division losers continued to play, judging by this diagram: Servite claims to have finished 5th in the tournament, so I guess that would mean that after losing to Bosco by a point, Servite must have defeated CCentennial, and then the winner of the La Habra/Narbonne game. Is that Right? |

The difference between the top eight teams was minimal. The games often came down to a call by a ref or a dropped ball or two. Bosco would have been eliminated if servite converted on a two point conversion. CDM looked sharp and are very talented. Humphries is a beast. My opinion on the top teams has not changed as a result of passing league.

Just a summer passing league tourney, but I like the going-for-two mentality. The real fun begins next month!

I really thought Servite let Bosco off the hook with the play call on that 2 pt conversion. Heck, they let Bosco off the hook by not going to T-Mac more. Bosco was not giving the corner much help against T-Mac. We were holding our breathes whenever he was up against the young Bosco corner.
