I had something like the following in mind: in an interview yesterday with something called "The Breakfast Club" Kamala Harris claimed to have smoked weed in college while listening to Snoop and Tupac, even though she graduated from college several years before either released their first album!
She can't even attempt to appear "hip" without lying. This is James Comey level prevarication. The same woman who sicced the prosecutorial dogs on David Daleiden's undercover expose on Planned Parenthood's illegal trafficking in fetal baby parts, while at the same time she was receiving campaign contributions from Planned Parenthood. She is dangerous and completely unprincipled, slept her way (with Willie Brown) up the greasy pole of California politics, and is almost Clintonian in her utter lack of scruples. It's ironic, how the left can demand a halt to a housing development or other construction project, just to save some supposedly endangered species of house fly, and yet they want to kill off all cows now.

I doubt it's so much a matter of killing off all cows as it is of eating the ones we have and not having any more calves. On the other hand, I wonder if they know where milk, cheese, yogurt and ice cream come from. If the goal is to end all bovine farting, all those things disappear as well.
And of course I'm sure all the Democrats who support the GND are already vegetarians and vegans.

What is to stop the incremental Canadian bovine gas emissions, brought about by the increased demand of dairy products here in the US, from crossing the border illegally? |

Alas, Bick, that's what has always confused me about the California left's obsession with reducing carbon emissions and greenhouse gasses. California produces roughly 4/10ths of one percent of the planet's total of those two things. So even if this state produces not another molecule of those offensive chemicals, the world will still have 99.6% of the problem it does now. In other words, our efforts won't make a damn bit of difference, except to make the do-good liberals feel better about themselves. And that's really what it's all about, isn't it?
