I know we like to think of ourselves as somehow better than the usual suspects on TOB, not so much because of our beliefs, but rather because of our behaviors. And it's true, we spend a lot of time actually discussing things, while they have been reduced to nothing more than belittling and insulting Trump and his supporters in every post they write. ....... The bolded section of Jefferson's quote proves that he should forever be memorialized as the anti-Wabash. Using a Jefferson quote to exemplify himself as an anti - (federalist) Wabash, is VERY well played. To bring things to a slightly more modern perspective, and to your point, THIS is a discussion board. THAT is a gotcha board.

Well not on the Champ but St. Germain, maybe my most favorite sipping spot on planet earth..... (Sorry Blackies...!) a pseudo-intellectual, sipping SPECIAL FLORE CHOCOLATE, consuming a croque madame while suits me well Luca! Man, if you used those words on TOB, you'd be crucified and banned.

You're a funny guy, Luca. Caught some of your banter over there on the nuggets. I think you quadrupled their posts in a single day.

Yeah, I got a kick out of that too. They claimed Republicans are stupid, and Luca kept asking, why, then, are they dominating the Democrats everywhere (except the House)? They were at a loss.

Well, if anyone gets out of line here with the language, we know who can toss the yellow flag.
Nice to have you on board.
BTW...you might be a candidate for Avatar of the Year, right up there with MDDad's interpretation of the Deliverance banjo player. Right funny that avatar you've got.

I heard a completely unsubstantiated rumor that Trump had to wait for the conclusion of the Mueller investigation to lower the boom on DC miscreants. I’m not sure what that means, but the Mueller investigation is over, so maybe we will see... I heard that he was threatened with Obstruction if he released FISA documents etc. while the Mueller probe ( that word really does describe it) was still underway.

I’m not sure what that means, but the Mueller investigation is over, so maybe we will see... I heard that he was threatened with Obstruction if he released FISA documents etc. while the Mueller probe ( that word really does describe it) was still underway. Exactly. That's why Mueller strung the "investigation" out as long as possible. He had to have known by August 2017 that Trump-Russia "collusion" was non-existent, so then meandered on to the "obstruction" angle to justify the whole farce, hamstring Trump, bag a few scalps on process crimes (Flynn, Papdoupolus, Manafort's decades-old tax fraud) to prop up the Russia hoax, and in the process help the Democrats win the House. In all this he was spectacularly successful; in actually proving the predicate of the entire hoax, not so much. As long as Jeff Sessions remained in place as an essentially non-existent AG in all matters related to Russia due to his (unnecessary) recusal, Rod Rosenstein had free reign to cover up his own complicity by allowing the probe to go on indefinitely. Only William Barr's appointment has put it all to a stop.

Luca, you made me do something I hadn't done in years - visit the other board. Great posts, the analogy comparing those doofus's to people who wouldn't let go of the Obama-Kenya thing was spot on.

There's something really comical about some cry baby calling Dr. Brasi naive and ignorant. Reminds me of that meme of that bespectacled guy or girl (or both) in the yellow jacket screaming at the sky.

How long before Luca's head explodes?
If that's not a story I've seen before...mildly rational debate, followed by name calling / condescension, followed by dissection and re-formulation of original point so that it loses original meaning, and then finally completely flipped so now YOU have to prove a negative.
It's pretty hysterical to watch from the cheap seats instead of engaging in that crap any more.
