Not crying about the 16 penalties in the least ( yes, you are). Simply made the point whether refs were biased ( you're joking, right?) or CDM self inflicted ( at last you figured it was a possibility, because that's what happened) without that imbalance the game was not as close as the scoreboard indicated. O' Shea even in his post game interview took responsibility that it is an issue after a game like that and it can't happen again. He also stated that the last 2 (of 3) SC TD's were results of those penalties. ( The penalties were 1- a late hit OB that put the ball into the red zone and 2- a Roughing the passer - hit and push to the shoulders last- that also put them into the red zone. Those are called discipline fouls) Our crew had this game last year and it was a barn burner ... I just got done looking at the Hudl film. The comment about bias is just a cop out for poor play. Here's some real stats for you since I took the time to look at the film ... as far as I was concerned they were all solid calls, except for maybe one Illegal use of hands by CdM that was hard to see from Hudl's angle. SC had 7 fouls for 72 yards. 3 coaching fouls (offsides, illegal shifts, etc) 3 discipline fouls (personal fouls, UNS, illegal hands, targeting, etc) 1 judgement (holding OPI, DPI, etc) CdM had 16 fouls for 149 yards - 1 foul for Illegal man downfield at the half was declined 7 coaching fouls 5 discipline fouls 3 judgement So basically, if the coaching* and temperment sort themselves out, it's a 4 foul game. No bias, no favoritism, all solid calls. "Success is knowing who to blame for your failures" * by coaching I am suggesting the kids are not executing what they were taught.

They went three to four weeks before putting anything up at all. SC finally put their stats up. They did post or edit or change the penalty count. CDM 16 SC 6. I was curious about SC as they played all SD schools. The Tesoro game was going to be a better barometer, they appeared to have dominated Tesoro. The super transfer from Long Beach all purpose player and QB Billoups had five TD's, 2 passing, 2 rushing and 1 INT. Against CDM he had less than 100 yards passing and only 18 yards rushing. CDM's offense gets all the accolades but the guys on the defensive side are getting the job done too. Looks like Tesoro crossing a super soft schedule bit them on the road against a quality opponent. 5 TURNOVERS and two additional fumbles that Tesoro luckily recovered. I think SC might have had one or two long drives, otherwise, it was their defense capitalizing on Tesoro's mistakes - HUGE MISTAKES. One pick 6 and another one that was close. Billoups intercepted and was stopped on the Tesoro two. It was UGLY.

SuperM. Thats what happens when you play a lesser SOS and then hit a team that has not. More times than not..., you are not prepared. SC was a big step up from the Tesoro previous schedule.

not sure why I'm having a difficult time quoting, but I was curious if you had a chance to look at the officiating in the Bosco/Servite game.

can you watch the Prep Zone games on another day or is it only available the day of? I tried to go back to watch the Bosco/Servite game and couldn't find anything but the main Fox Sports game of the week.

How's Jake Overman doing? Was it a serious foot/ankle injury or just a sprain? In a walking boot. Torn ligament in his ankle. Out four weeks, as far as I know.
