After seeing Serra up close, was shocked by the score of their game v OLu. The OLU game this week will be the toughest pick. North v South QBEdison losing to Helix was a surprise as well. Close game QBHow good is Cen10? I think they're the #2 team in the state. Maybe 3 4 or 5 IMO 2,3 or 4

One helluva ball game at Cerritos college last night. 4th quarter was easily the most exciting I've ever called. Well earned victory for the Friars... Congrats.

It's pretty wild to see how the interest in HS football has waned so much on the message boards. TOB is literally crickets.
Don't know about you guys, but this HS football stuff keeps me young. Conversely, most of the politics stuff lately tends to age me.

It's pretty wild to see how the interest in HS football has waned so much on the message boards. TOB is literally crickets. That's partly because almost all the regular high school football posters on TOB came to this forum, either because they were banned or out of disgust. You have to assume that many of TOB's remaining posters are of questionable masculinity with little interest in sports.

It is amazing to watch kids go from HS, to college and then the pros. Hey, remember when he was at USC .... Was talking to Albano about that very thing last night. He and Scotty Barajas do a Trinity podcast each week, and Dan mentioned that on Thursday he's covering a HS game while former OC guys St Brown and McDuffie were playing for the Lions and Chiefs. He also did a piece on Bryce Young recently.

Conversely, most of the politics stuff lately tends to age me. That board is just simply toxic in every aspect, about 3 guys living on another planet of reality (their own) and some pretty knowledgeable x-posters whom found a new country here. Its pretty hard today to have a sports message board however when the other half is of political nature, like most the country it just divides from the get go, I am sure their are some sports guys over there that would love to post here but the main ideology over here keeps them away. I still find it hard to figure how we could expand the HSF participation here. Our board would need a name that recognizable to others as well as searches.... In the meantime I'll just stay content with you adorable knuckleheads!

It helps to have good receivers too, but the guy throwing the ball..... is critical. Good for him.

What a shock! Just like clockword, the CIF-SS did their annual muscle flex by banning L.A. Cathedral from the postseason playoffs because of an invalid change of residence by a player on their football team. What a joke they have become, picking out one school every year to show how tough they are enforcing the rules, while turning a blind eye to the dozens or hundreds of other fake residence changes that happen every year and receive rubber stamp approval.

D1 playoffs sure will be packed with drama again. Who gets to lose by 5 TDs to Mater Dei in the championship this year?

Outside the likely that MD may be head & shoulders better than both Kahuku & SJB, the only thing I can attribute here otherwise is the "travel team" (far distance, time zone change, etc) got punked. Happy for the Red Raiders however, I have been to a few of their games on the island as well as a couple state championship games at Aloha Stadium. When I visit the North Shore in winter I always wear my Red Raider "T"!
