I don't know if it's true of other Hawaiian teams, but Kahuku has a special fan base. They brought almost 3,000 people to the Bowl last week when they played us, and they were cheering and screaming from start to finish. Compare that to the couple hundred silent fans that local rivals like JSerra and Santa Margarita have willing to make the death-defying drive from south O.C. After the game, our team lined up at the base of the visitor stands to watch the Red Raiders' post-game Haka drill and it was electric. That drill should headline a stage in Vegas. It was a very special night, and I can't wait to play them in Hawaii next year.

The North Shore of Oahu is a very communal place, the saying, "Keep the Country, Country".

One of the coolest pre game stuff I've seen is when two different poly national teams square off at mid field before a rugby match doing their version of the haka. Really looks like they are getting ready for war.

Happy for the Red Raiders however, I have been to a few of their games on the island as well as a couple state championship games at Aloha Stadium. When I visit the North Shore in winter I always wear my Red Raider "T"! Haole sport da Raidah shirt?

Come to think of it, he probably does too.

The only thing the Mai Tai does beat the two bourbon drinks is the fruity factor or half of the Vilepagan factor!

No straight man should ever drink a cocktail that (a) has a wedge of pineapple stuck on the glass rim, (b) is sweeter than pancake syrup, or (c) has an umbrella sticking out of it.

Hey, if it's good enough for Captain Morgan, and Captain Jack Sparrow...it's good enough for me. And Don't forget...Blackbeard's Ghost likes it too.

Pineapple rum is an abomination against nature, like steak cooked to well done, or pizza topped with menudo or turds.

I pretty much hate "flavored" anything as the so called flavor is usually, mostly, purely artificial.
Never tried poop pizza.
Steak medium rare.
