Agree Bick, call it parody, or maybe "like" schools w/ even talent in that particular match-up. Watched the hi lights, it was a good game. Hopefully going forwards "good games" or match ups will put more fanny's in the seats!  |

I've never seen a coach take the gloves off like this. My experience with Coach Gladnick is he's a stand up guy. He was very instrumental in getting us to be able to play in 2020 during the lockdown.

He may be a stand up guy, but he is obviously the wrong guy for St Augustine. Sounds like what took place a few years back at Grace Brethren, when the sports (football) program(s) become bigger than the school itself.

I can find respect for both sides, it's just a bad match, relationship. I'm down with winning, but the progressive bs about the school needs to change, comply to get with his program is bogus. This isn't far from what a lot of academia has become, we know better than you, we are bigger and better than you, we the teachers (coaches) know what is better for your kids than you, the parents, in this case the school. Coach should move on, take his allegiances and find another home. |

When there's pretty much a revolving door of head football coaches at a private school, you blame the school.
He'll move on of course, and be successful wherever he lands. I have interacted with Coach Gladnick before and believe he's a stand up guy.
I hadn't seen a coach go full on blast like this before.

Sounds like some parents didn’t like the way the players represented the school. Long hair and tattoos were mentioned.

Is MV that good? Is Centennial over scheduling? Opening season 0-2? Both MD and SM beat CC by similar margins, yet MV spanked SM 35-7 last week?
So what stands out so far for you this early in the season play?
