Yes freshman play at CDM campus sometime. And yes it is not much more than a practice field. I school district awarded to the school monies to build a stadium, plans were drawn, community meeting held and the residential out cry against a big stadium in proximity to close housing stopped the project. There is going to be an upgrade soon that will benefit soccer, lacrosse and football will have a better practice field but the team will have to do with Davidson field to play Varsity games. It sucks when basically every game is a road game. And to boot on your rivals turf.

So becuz I'm bored I will create a conspiracy rumor analogy. Nolan siphons off NH kids whom he can convince will be real good at CM league and divisional levels. In turn that makes any NH student/football player that is really good say hey I gotta go to CDM. CM starts winning and CDM further buries NH. Did I say I am "bored"? Not drunk, Just two Old Fashions tonight.... so far!

We have had a lot of that kind of movement here locally in the last couple of years. Five local teams, all five head coaches are new in the last two years, four of the five new as of last season, one of those got replaced because of an 0-9 record and got an assistant from one of the other four for their new head coach.

Well there you go SK80. Congrats...3 D1 offensive kids starting for you this year. Will probably set the all time sunset league scoring record. Thanks, its been both a pleasure and an honor to see these kids through from youth football to what should be yes a "record" breaking season. When kids of this caliber come through a public school it is more likely than not in todays atmosphere to leave for bigger pastures such as Trinity like we have here in Orange County. It was with great parental guidance, coaching and community that these guys at CDM chose to stay. I hope over the past couple season over on TOB none of you took my bringing this to anyones attention as simply bragging and chest pumping. Yes, I am a CDM alum and yes I wear my team on my sleeve and yes I subject myself to attack (It's just sport like Trinity to rip on CDM and Newport kids) but what I am really trying to convey is you have the chance to see something special in todays high school sport environment. You've got a lot to be proud about this year.
Not that I would ever advocate stopping xfers, but I've got infinitely more respect for kids that stay to make their school better v those that xfer to schools that are already "better".
