Bick, I think the Los Al-Mater Dei scrimmage is at Los Al, unless it's been changed.

Add another OC QB to the 4 **** list. 247sports.com/Article/Battle-for-top-spot-and-new-4-star-QBs-in-247Sports-Composite-131732016/More 4-star QBsUncommitted New Jersey quarterback Michael Alaimo and five other committed quarterbacks were among the group of prospects moving up into the 247Sports Composite four-star range. Tyler Van Dyke (Miami), Aidan Atkinson (Northwestern), Anthony Richardson (Florida), Jeff Sims (Florida State) and Ethan Garbers (Washington) each added a fourth star and moved up 100-plus spots in the industry-generated ranking.

SK80, I don't know if you know him or not, but I ran into John Humphreys' dad at the 4-Vertical Championship Tournament on Sunday. He and I served as board members for Mater Dei football for three years while Ben was there. Boy, I miss that guy. If every high school football dad was the gentleman that Brad is, then 90% of the crap that's going on would never happen.

Of course and your observation and experience is everything you stated, classy guy, model citizen of our community and an outstanding parent.
I don’t think there is a day that goes by that CDM Football, alum and community doesn’t thank John’s parents for supporting him in his decision to stay at home and play for his local high school. Many a parent would have been shopping their gifted kid around.
Was great to see the guys back on the field.... is it really back already!

That Sea King squad could never pass muster with the modern-day Left. Too much White Privilege.

SK80, do you know Ed & Ceci St Geme, the parents of Bo St Geme who was a wideout on the CDM championship football team a few years back? I ask because they are good friends with my brother & I have gotten to know them over the years. Good people, good athletic background and genes, & I believe Ceci is or was assisting coaching with the CDM girls track team.

I certainly know of them, Bo was a gamer athlete and yes his parents were too, dad played for Stanford like Humphrey's. Side story, Ed was a head coach at Rolling Hills, he coached against Scott Meyer's dad Jon who was at Long Beach Wilson back in the 70's. Scott Meyer was a grade schooler at the time but went on to be CDM's head coach when Bo was a player.

Can either if you tell me whether they are related to Rob (I think it was) St Geme? There was a very good running back at Loyola High School many years ago when they still played high-level football and I've always wondered if these CDM St Geme's were his kids or nephews or whatever.
I seem to recall that Rob became a physician but I don't know where he practiced. Just curious............................Luca

Since I'm a track and field guy, I assume this is also the same family that produced Annie St. Geme, one of the great high school distance runners in county history? She still has the 4th fastest time ever in the 1,600 meters, and the 6th fastest in the 3,200.

Ever considered a career in counterintelligence?
