You can't even make this sh_t up. The Flynn prosecutors (Mueller's handpicked team) are just today realizing they made a mistake on the notes from his interview pretextual set-up of January of 2017? It's not like this case involves anyone important like, say, a 3-star general who served in two presidential administrations or anything.
What a dumpster fire....

Not surprised you guys don't have any posts about this...I guess bad news isn't worth hearing. Flynn judge crushes hopes for tossing guilty plea, says ex-national security adviser waived constitutional rightsA federal judge on Monday rejected Michael Flynn's comprehensive requests for exculpatory information that may have been withheld by the FBI, saying that the former national security adviser had waived his fundamental constitutional rights by pleading guilty to making false statements.
The order from U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan in Washington also set a Jan. 28 sentencing date in the case, and essentially crushed any remaining hopes that Flynn might see his guilty plea tossed. www.foxnews.com/politics/michael-flynn-judge-rejects-claims-fbi-misconduct-prosecutorsIt's an article from FOX so it shouldn't frighten you too much. There's more stuff in the article that makes your arguments about Flynn look pretty foolish but I don't suppose you'll read it. If you do read it please explain it all to coach because I don't think he reads much. I guess all those people who were going to be jailed over this will just have to wait for you to smear them over the next bullshit scandal you dream up.

Looks like this Judge has his mind made up already, despite plenty of evidence to the contrary. thefederalist.com/2019/12/17/judge-in-michael-flynn-case-decides-to-ignore-mounting-evidence-of-prosecutorial-abuse/Judge Emmet Sullivan had two choices: He could ignore the growing evidence of government misconduct and wind up the two-year saga that has been the sentencing phase of the Michael Flynn criminal case, or he could say “not on my watch.” Yesterday, in a methodical and seemingly tempered opinion, the long-time federal judge opted for the former tack when he denied in full the comprehensive motion to compel Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell filed several months ago. Judge Sullivan then set Flynn’s sentencing for January 28, 2020.

The crazy (unjust, that is) thing about this case is that no one seems to know exactly what "false statement" Flynn is alleged to have made to the FBI agents who interviewed him (under false pretenses), because the government has produced no evidence to that effect. James Comey himself testified to Congress in March 2017 that the agents didn't think Flynn was lying, and then Mueller picks up the case later and goes after him in December 2017. Mueller's team coerced a guilty plea and now their argument (which Judge Sullivan inexplicably supported) seems to be that we don't need to produce the evidence of guilt because the defendant has already plead guilty.
And everything Flynn was discussing with the Russian ambassador was perfectly legal and part of his job as incoming NSA for the new administration. There was no underlying illegal action to justify an interview or investigation into his conversation for which he is being charged.
At this point his only option seems to be a motion to withdraw his plea, or hope for a Presidential pardon down the road. Especially in light of the recent IG report on FISA abuse, this whole case had been a massive miscarriage of justice. Flynn was simply the tinder that Comey needed to ignite the hysteria of the Russia Collusion hoax.

I know. You could know too if you just looked it up on Wikipedia.
On December 1, 2017, special counsel Robert Mueller agreed to a plea bargain in which Flynn pleaded guilty to "willfully and knowingly" making "false, fictitious and fraudulent statements" to the FBI regarding conversations with Russia's ambassador. Specifically, Flynn falsely denied that he had asked Russia's ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak on December 29, 2016, "to refrain from escalating ... in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia that same day."
That's a lie. Mueller's team did not coerce anything from Flynn, and as has already been shown the evidence of Flynn's guilt is there for all to see despite your absurd claim that it hasn't been produced.
Oh...so you DID know about the conversation he had with the Russian ambassador that he lied about to the FBI. I wonder why he lied about a "perfectly legal" conversation. I wonder why he pled guilty to a crime for this "perfectly legal" conversation. I wonder why two high-priced lawyers couldn't get him off even though you say he committed no crime. Perhaps your assessment of the legal situation is erroneous.
Yes, hope for his political ally to pardon him for his crimes.
Can you explain the connection between Flynn's legal woes and the IG's report?

The guy who set up Gen. Flynn did the exact same thing that Flynn is alleged (since the evidence has never been produced) to have done, was fired and yet now enjoys a high-paid gig at CNN. Meanwhile, Flynn has been essentially held hostage by the DOJ for over two years.
A two-tiered system of justice cannot stand.

General Flynn was NOT "set up". Saying it over and over will not make it true. He pleaded guilty to a crime and will be sentenced for committing a crime. I know the facts don't agree with what you want, but they are facts nonetheless. Try to accept reality.
ETA: I see you can't connect Flynn's crimes to the IG's report.

Government Corruption 101

I guess this must be Government corruption 102 then... From that left-wing liberal fake news site...FOX News... DOJ seeks up to six-month prison sentence for Michael Flynn (you know, that DOJ headed by William Barr?) In a reversal, the Justice Department has recommended up to six months of prison time for ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn—claiming he has refused to “accept responsibility” for his actions.
“Given the serious nature of the defendant’s offense, his apparent failure to accept responsibility, his failure to complete his cooperation in—and his affirmative efforts to undermine—the prosecution of [ex-Flynn associate] Bijan Rafiekian ... the government recommends that the court sentence the defendant within the applicable Guidelines range of 0 to 6 months of incarceration,” federal prosecutors wrote in a sentencing memo on Tuesday...
Sullivan in December had rejected claims from Flynn’s lawyers that he was pressured to plead guilty to lying to federal investigators about his contacts with the Russian diplomat. His lawyers had also claimed the government withheld critical evidence that may have favored their client.
In its new sentencing memorandum, the DOJ wrote, “The defendant’s conduct was more than just a series of lies; it was an abuse of trust,” adding, “The government acknowledges that the defendant’s history of military service, and his prior assistance to the government, though not substantial, may distinguish him from these other defendants. The government asks the Court to consider all of these factors, and to impose an appropriate sentence.”...
He is one of six former Trump associates charged as part of the Mueller probe. All have either been convicted or pleaded guilty.www.foxnews.com/politics/doj-seeks-six-month-prison-sentence-for-gen-flynnI wonder when you'll admit you were wrong about Flynn.

Why would trump "get him out'? It's the trump administration that's sending him to jail.

Well, I can't blame Flynn for trying, but I don't have much confidence he'll convince the judge he was set up. But at least he's getting his money's worth with his attorney.
