I repeat: Lt. Gen. Flynn was set up. Government is now backing down in their sentencing recommendation. They REALLY don't want this case to go to trial.

Sounds like the government is backing away from jail time for Flynn: Apparently starting to believe about the lies and deceit surrounding the case.

Oh my...what is Attorney General Barr afraid will come out?
Come to think of it...why hasn't Barr intervened in this case?
I mean, you talk about the "government" as if they're responsible for this gross miscarriage of justice but leave out your boy Barr...it makes one wonder.

What often gets missed is the financial damage done to those being investigated. In Flynn's case, I think he was pretty much bankrupt over this, and the prosecutors were going after his son next. I believe he fell on the sword for his kid. Think about this for a minute. This was a guy who was in service to his country for most of his life, and that same government jammed him right in the ass.

Exactly. Every one of the dozens of Trump officials or associates who were subpoenaed in the course of the entire Russia Collusion Hoax had to pay untold thousands upon thousands of dollars in legal fees each and every time they appeared before some congressional committee.

So where's Bill Barr in this whole scenario?

Since FBI Director Christopher Wray, in congressional testimony last week, conceded that the FISA warrants on Trump campaign officials were illegally obtained that might give some of these individuals grounds for lawsuits against the DOJ/FBI to recover their financial losses over this bogus investigation.

A two-tiered system of justice cannot stand. My prediction: Flynn will not spend a single day in jail and the case will be dismissed.

There have been a ton of developments in this case since last week--including the disclosure of exculpatory evidence previously withheld from Flynn and his defense team. Mueller's goons were threatening Flynn's son with prosecution--which is why he plead guilty to a crime he didn't commit--and then quietly dropped the case once they secured Flynn's plea. I'm not quite ready to declare victory with an "I told you so," but we're getting closer to this whole case getting dismissed and the real offenders in the FBI/DOJ getting held to account.
Today's new disclosure makes it clear the entire reason for interviewing Flynn was to create a pretext to get him fired--which worked--and thus light the match on the Trump-Russia Collusion hysteria/hoax--which also worked. James Comey later illegally leaked Trump's positive words about Flynn (who hadn't been charged with any crime at the time) to the media for the express purpose of "spurring the appointment of a special counsel" (his words) in order to further the hysteria and hamstring the administration--which also worked.
But it's all coming out now....
As the chief of Stalin's secret police said, "Show me the man and I'll find you the crime"

It was all a set-up. And he never lied to the FBI.
This is how our FBI treated a 3-star general.

It's downright frightening that this man was once the head of the FBI.
And Barack Hussein Obama knew about all of it.
They never thought the truth would come out.
