I found myself rooting for Wash prior to that event, mainly because they hadn't won in so long. That little episode flipped the switch for me. I've never understood why the left is so vocal that way and the right less so.., I didn't much care for Obama yet in that circumstance I would never disrespect the office nor my fellow Americans in that venue whom may feel differently. It's the same pattern I always see in politics as well, Republicans cordial and Democrats obnoxious.

Anyone know where Trump got the crying and whimpering details of Abu before he went to pieces? Doesn't seem like anyone would be close enough to hear that would be around to share given he had blown himself up. Listening devices? I figure he probably used some dramatic license with that part... guy runs into a cave he KNOWS is a dead end with the sole intent of blowing himself up and taking as many with him as he can, is not running in there whimpering and crying. Screaming, maybe, but screaming “allahu akbar” or something is more likely. the focus, however, should probably be on they got him, and unlike Emperor Obama, Trump did not claim credit, but gave it to the Delta Force that actually did it.

I assumed it was all “poetic license”, sometimes referred to as “bullshit.” When you’re chasing someone down a tunnel and hear sounds I’m not sure you can distinguish whimpering from yelling or heavy breathing, or whether it came from one of the kids. He has a gift for introducing melodrama even when understatement would suffice.
A more solemn tone would have been better suited. Simply read out a litany of the mofo’s crimes and point out that he took the coward’s way out - and took three children with him - running away at the end of a dark blind tunnel (kind of symbolic when you think about it). Then credit the the long arm and inexorable justice of the US special forces. “You can run but you can’t hide forever.”..................Luca

Agree, but that artistic license, like all the other artistic license he's used, only serves to detract from the accomplishments.

That's impossible!

"You lie!"
That's a quote from?...Republican Rep. Joe Wilson to President Obama during a speech to Congress. Very cordial, yeah.
Just out of curiosity, where have you been for the past three years when we've had the most outrageously ill-tempered and decidedly un-presidential president in office in this nation's history?

Might also be that we're not the demographic he's looking to attract.

Believe it or not, reports are that the dogs have body cams. Whether those have microphones...they didn't say. I heard they are working towards declassifying some of that footage.

Anyone know where Trump got the crying and whimpering details of Abu before he went to pieces?... Remember he's a salesman, embellishing with details that enhance the final product is in his genes.

They like wiretapping their enemies.

Just out of curiosity, where have you been for the past three years when we've had the most outrageously ill-tempered and decidedly un-presidential president in office in this nation's history? You had to reach back TEN YEARS to find a Republican example of incivility toward a Democrat president---and Joe Wilson was roundly and immediately condemned by GOP leadership and conservative pundits. We could find at least a dozen examples worse than this every day for the past 1,013 days since Trump took office. Still waiting for a Democrat to condemn Rashida Tlaib's "we're going to impeach the m____f____r."
