My fiancée and I are pretty irritated about this. We’re avid backpackers and now we have to cancel our plans.
Another blow to mountain communities like Mammoth Lakes, really sad.

I'm sure you have all seen the (now viral) video of the California HS teacher who removed the U.S. Flag from her classroom "because it made her uncomfortable" but told her students they could pledge allegiance to the homosexual pride flag she had on display. Is there a "Back Bay High School" in Costa Mesa? That might be where she teaches... or taught. Turns out, the School District takes a dim view of woke activism in the classroom: Calif teacher who removed US flag, suggested students pledge allegiance to pride flag removed from classroom
