Someone else I know is down with COVID again. Pretty sure he was vaxxed like some of you guys. I will tell you the truth: It is impossible for medical science to make an inoculation against a cold or flu virus.
A few decades ago when I was part of the biological warfare defense and pandemic response in the Air Force, I got to hear many things about viruses, and how the medical industry pushes vaccine research with virus scares created to perform medical experimentation. How they pollute/poison water and food supplies to induce sickness, people spraying pathogenic chemicals into ventilation intakes in buildings, on top of forcing people to wear the examination style mask, that does nothing but help the person get infected with airborne cold and flu viruses, and bacterium . The examination mask itself outside of a sterile environment could be used as a self inducing biological weapon against someone so that they catch a severe case of the flu or pneumonia, and unfortunately, the authorities are committed malfeasance to open up emergency funding so them and their corporations they are committing corruption with can plunder it at will. This is exactly what they did: Global Weaponized Medicine for profit and use it to economically devalue everyone else's wealth wile doing it.
In one of those training classes, I got to hear Dr. Fauci say the real truth about corona viruses: "The only way to get immune to a corona virus is to catch and survive that virus."
That has not changed ever. And you'll notice if he ever gets interviewed, the contradictions he will be stumbling on is because he trying to protect the snake-oil vaccine industry from being exposed.
What should have happened during a virus scare, the Surgeon General is supposed to be the spoke person backed by the joint forces pandemic response team and the CDC. Instead, we had a private corporation (NIAD) dictate civil defense during the weaponized medicine incident. Which politicians altered the pandemic response so that they can commit this crime against the people.
Putin is part of this global weaponized medicine movement. Instead of addressing the biological/germ warfare labs the corporations created to make weapons to use against consumers with weaponized medicine, he invades the country that is in the process of prosecuting a biological warfare partner (Biden) for his and his son's criminal activity with the energy sector in that country (Burisma Holdings). Putin use the truth as a smokescreen to interrupt the Ukrainian government prosecuting a leader of a different country. Putin should have addressed their weaponized medicine in international court, under the guideline set forth in the Geneva Convention War Rules of Engagement. What they didn't tell public is yes there is several biological warfare labs and yes the enemy knows about them, why? because that is part of a different treaty that they would have knowledge and transparency.

Fiancee exhibited symptoms and is required to test to go back into the office.
Otherwise, we wouldn't.

For my birthday, my wife surprised me and got me tickets to the Angel game on Thursday 5/26. On Saturday and Sunday nights, I had a tough time sleeping because of severe drainage, and the start of a dry cough. I took a Covid test Monday morning and tested positive. Monday was Memorial Day, so my General Dr. had an associate covering for him who called me back immediately, and prescribed 5 days of taking 3 pills twice a day of Paxlovid. BTW, she mentioned that I was the 3rd patient who had tested positive in their practice that morning. I had just turned 69,and am in the serious age group. The worst 2 nights were Tuesday and Wednesday, where I experienced the worst sore throat I've had since I had my tonsils removed in 5th grade. The dry coughing continued, but soon diminished and I've tested negative for 2 days in a row starting Sat., and Sunday. I did not lose my sense of smell, or have chills or a temperature. My wife and I stayed as far away from each other and she still is testing negative. I was told to stay masked around people for 5 more days after testing negative. I believe I was infected at the Angel game. I have had 3 vacinations of Phizer. I am in good shape and have no serious medical issues.
Have any of the rest of you had Covid recently? And if you have, what were you prescribed and what was your experience?

I had it earlier this year. Nothing more than a stuffy, runny nose for a few days. I didn't even call my doctor or take anything for it. I had the two original Pfizer shots 16 months ago, but no boosters.
And I'm not the guy who sneezed on your beer cup at the Angel game. In fact, if your wife got you Angel tickets, I'd question how much she really cares about you.

We had a great time as I love baseball, and growing up in Anaheim, the Angels are my favorite team. I can't tell you how many Angel games my wife suffered through on our date nights. Especially when Nolan Ryan was pitching. BTW, I took my 2 sons to see the new "Facing Nolan" documentary about Nolan Ryan on 5/22.. We really enjoyed it, and if you enjoy baseball, it is worth it.

I think I may have told this story before, but:
I grew up across the street from La Palma Park in Anaheim, where Glover Stadium is located. Either during the 1972 player strike or the 1973 owner lockout, the Angels worked out at La Palma Park during the stoppage. A few of us were hanging around watching, when Nolan Ryan decided to unload at full speed. We were allowed to stand "at the plate" while he threw, although with Nolan you didn't stand too close. I stood with a bat on my shoulder maybe five feet from the catcher, and to this day, the sound Ryan's fastball made as it blurred past me is something I still haven't forgotten. He's still my favorite Angel ever.

Sorry to hear about you sickness Duke. I got sick for three weeks in March 2020. I haven't been vaccinated and am in my 60s too. I am on immune suppressants. I am around customers every work day. I haven't been sick since March 2020. Never got tested, but I think it was COVID.

Oh, I think I watched that game on TV later on. I record Angel games on Bally's Sports West at midnight and watch them the next day. Today I was watching the Angles play the Philly's. The channel jumped ahead and skipped five runs by the Angels. LOL, Why skip that part? I like the Angles too.
