So, it all started with Chuck Schumer threatening Supreme Court Associate Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. Which prompted Chief Justice John Roberts to issue the following rebuke directly to Chuck Schumer: of course, Schumer couldn’t just walk away... his spokesman, John Goodman, followed up with: The above, and more is taken from An article on Fox News

As we've all seen for the last 3 1/2 years, there is a different standard of the justice for Dems and R's.

Abortion is the central sacrament of the religion of the Left, which explains their unhinged reaction to even the slightest opposition to the purported "right" to kill the unborn without restriction. These are sick people.

Even after decades of this wordplay, it's still a little bothersome to see it continue in use. NOBODY is opposed to women's rights to health care, and NOBODY is against their rights to reproduce. What some of us oppose is their unfettered killing of living human fetuses who have no one to advocate for them.

Had the Democrats chosen to censure President Trump over the Ukraine phone call instead of impeach him & try to remove him from office, I believe a majority of Americans would have been fine with it. It would have been a situation where the punishment fit the perceived "crime". It will now be interesting to see if the Senate also tries to overreach with Schumer. He should be censured, a slap on the wrist for poor behavior, but if they try to remove him from office, they will be making the same mistake the Dems did.
Censure accomplishes what is needed without the attempt to overturn the will of the voters.

What some of us oppose is their unfettered killing of living human fetuses who have no one to advocate for them. The left zealots have been doing that for decades. It’s not a child, it’s a fetus its not abortion, it’s reproductive rights they aren’t illegal aliens, they’re immigrants ... they follow a creed that, if it is said long enough, it gets mainstreamed. Once it is mainstreamed, and everyone is using it, they are the winners and everyone who opposes them (and uses the proper terminology) is obsolete, and a loser.

..."For Justice Roberts to follow the right wing’s deliberate misinterpretation of what Sen. Schumer said, while remaining silent when President Trump attacked Justices Sotomayor and Ginsberg last week, shows Justice Roberts does not just call balls and strikes."
The audacity in publicly making the above statement is staggering. First, the was no misrepresentation of Schumers statement by the right, there was only misrepresentation of its meaning by Schumers office. Second, Trump responded to comments (did not "attack") Sotomayer & Ginsberg, he did not threaten them and did not try to influence a decision currently before the court. Third, to present false evidence and then use that to justify condemning Justice Roberts is the ultimate straw-man.
There is so much talk about reaching across the aisle and that compromise is needed in politics. I know I could never work with a person who so boldly tries to escape responsibility for what he said as Schumer has just done and I don't blame Republicans & independents who come to the same conclusion.

Schumer saw the great results Pelosi, Schiff, and Nadler had in the House for being Aholes, and thought he needed a boost as none of them had been in the news cycle lately.

I just fired off emails to my two US Senators urging that they vote to censure Schumer for threatening the two Supreme Court Justices by name. I urge all of you to do the same.

I did that yesterday, too. regrettably, my Senators are Dickless Durbin and Tammy Duck (worth)... so they’ll round-file all such emails, but they’ll see them, too.

More likely their staff will see them and delete them, and the senators never will.

Way to burst my utopian bubble. Sorry, man. Judging by that shirt, it may have been all you had to live for.
