...with the exception of George Bush the First... He was portrayed as a "wimp", they even put it on the cover of Time or Newsweek. They bullied him until he did what they wanted (tax increase), which ended up costing him the presidency. I do like the way the Bushes create relationships with the presidents that followed them, once those presidents leave office. I would have a lot of respect for Obama if he did that with Trump at the end of this decade, but I don't see it happening. I think it is a positive sign for the country for ex-presidents to coalesce as a group when they are done with their time in office. I would think it would be handy for any current president to be able to reach out to that group for advice.

How right she was.
