Notice how all the efforts of the media and the Left in the COVID-19 situation are not on getting Americans back to what they want to do--take repsonsibility for their own lives--but, rather, are in the direction of greater dependence on the government (bailouts, health "expert" decrees). As I said in another post, this is the left's Hail Mary pass into the endzone with no time left on the clock. They have a semi-conscious nominee running against Donald Trump, and the courts are slowly but surely being packed with conservatives. This virus panic is their last best shot at getting their agenda through.

Might be parenthetical to the thread title, but maybe it isn’t:

If you want to blow your mind... watch this in its entirety.... Jesus, SK. The thing's over an hour long. How many of us do you think have the time to sit through something like that? There's got to be some cliff notes. If there's a "conspiracy" going on regarding COVID-19, I'd like to see some actual evidence to show who is responsible, why and what the hell they're gaining out of it. You realize for these theoretical massive international leftist conspiracies to work that there must of necessity be hundreds if not thousands of "co-conspirators". How likely is that that they're all staying silent about it and this one guy has blown their cover? Versus, for example, a bunch of incompletely informed politicians petrified of being found inadequately prescient and overreacting to worst-case scenarios that are now being shown to be wrong? People can actually screw up without it being a conspiracy............................Luca

Luca, this thread was meant to post "conspiracy" ideas out there or "hidden motives".... HIDDEN. Maybe I was mistaken on that but when I posted it I was walking and looking outside the box.

I thought we were starting to go off the deep end with conspiracy theories and Davos and the Trilateral commission and all that..............Luca

Luca, you do make a good point nonetheless that what is often portrayed as a conspiracy is usually nothing more than good old government incompetence and apathy.
However, Jeffery Epstein didn't kill himself.

I still haven't figured out what spooked Trump & his advisors back in March to recommend shutting down the country, a move that you could see he regretted and wanted to backtrack on just 10 days or so later. But I now have a theory.
Tom Cotton was crucified for his declaration that the virus came from a Chinese lab, the left called it a fringe or conspiracy theory over & over. Further evidence is proving Senator Cotton to be correct, but that begs the question, where did he get his information? If Senator Cotton learned of this from our intelligence agencies, then most likely those same agencies informed President Trump.
So imagine President Trump 7 or 8 weeks ago, with information that a virus from a Chinese lab is now in the US. We wouldn't have known if it was some simple flu-like virus or if it was a biological weapon. If it was the latter, then we were for all intents & purposes at war and who knows how dangerous of a biological weapon it could have been. So the reaction to shut things down would have made sense, as was the following reaction a week or so later when it became apparent that this was just a natural virus and not a man-made killing machine.
My hunch is that the president and his administration had a legitimate concern that we had been attacked.

I have been thinking along the same lines. i haven’t thought it through as completely as you have, but with the president reacting the way he did, people like Cotton making their comments as and when they did, and several congressmen selling their stocks short and making a killing off the stock market correction before the correction was realized all convince me there is [something] more to this or behind it or with this than we are being told. this seeming over-reaction fueled by a sensationalized media just doesn’t otherwise make sense.

Saw that ad yesterday and I’m an undecided voter, and I approved this ad.
Not undecided about Pelosi or Trump, though.

If don't think there are powerful interests hoping to transform America into a 24/7 360 degree surveillance state for the sake of our "safety" you're fooling yourself. This is scary stuff.
