Too bad she couldn't hang on for another 2 1/2 weeks to reach a hundred. I was thinking something similar... I figured, if anyone could live forever, she would be the one.

I didn't know he was still alive. When I was younger I saw To Sir with Love. I still like the song.

I didn't know he was still alive. When I was younger I saw To Sir with Love. I still like the song. My favorite was In the Heat of the Night because him and Rod Steiger played off each other so well. " They CALL me MISTER Tibbs..." but I also liked Lilies of the field, Guess who's Coming to Dinner, and, as you do, To Sir with Love.

I loved Big Daddy. Huge loss. "Stop fighting a fight that's already been won". His songs hit the heart of men more than any other Christian songs.

Or… maybe related to many years of cocaine use?

Or sometimes 65-year-old men just die, of heart attacks, strokes, aneurysms and a hundred other causes.
But I'm sure Saget died of either Covid or climate change.

Ronnie Spector, the cat-eyed, bee-hived rock ‘n’ roll siren who sang such 1960s hits as “Be My Baby,” “Baby I Love You” and “Walking in the Rain” as the leader of the girl group The Ronettes, has died. She was 78.
One of my all time favorites. Ronnie, thanks for your wonderful music, and may you be singing with the angels now and forever.
