Bick, this is the number one debate I have with both sides of the argument. Did the vaccine help me get over it quicker? Was the delta strain weaker? Was it because I am “young and healthy” I really don’t know; though I like to believe it was the vaccine… wouldn't you rather know it was you, healthy, immune system not some vaccine that aids you.....? Well, part of me wants to believe the vaccine did SOMETHING

I'm beginning to think the beneficial effects of Covid vaccines will become like man's contribution to global warming: We know it's real, but we'll never know the magnitude of the effect.

I'm struggling with the logic of the mandates. If the vaccines work, and everyone has had the opportunity to get vaccinated for months, then what threat does it pose if a nonvaccinated person enters a bar or restaurant? If the vaccines don't work, then what is the point of the mandates?

The real clusterfuck is that nobody, NOBODY, ever forces the mandaters to explain their rationale. We just eat their crappy word salads, burp, and move on like sheep.

As per the treatments mentioned earlier in the thread: Vitamin D, C, along with Zinc are good. Ivermectin should be used in the infection, IMO. I know hospitals like Remdesivir, but from what I have seen, it can cause the kidneys to fail AND then the patient retains fluid and the lungs fill with fluid and the patient then needs a ventilator. Why do the hospitals like Remdesivir? I think it is because it is expensive. How much money can be made from a five dollar treatment? Also, the NIH bought a ton of it after a failed Ebola trail in Africa. It was the first drug in the trial to be pulled because it was so dangerous. It makes you wonder why so many people died in the hospital from COVID.

From the Epoch Times just today:
This fits in with my post above. There have been at least a dozen studies involving Ivermectin and COVID. The ones I saw were positive. Both Ivermectin and Remdesivir are on the EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) list as approved therapies. There might be studies involving Remdesivir, but I have seen those yet. Also, the Epoch Times story points out how hard it is to get a treatment that doesn't involve Remdesivir. The system works for big Pharma, not for cheap safe generics. You can't make as much money from treating a disease as you can from mass vaccination, especially if it is funded by the government. Vaccinate everyone, don't just treat a few people. Even vaccinate the kids. Fauci and others discussed a way to scare everyone into getting a vaccine in October 2019 on CSPAN: Must watch this video: www.bitchute.com/video/YWWiLdUwYQc9/Bill Gates has said you would be a fool to not invest in vaccines. It is a 20 times return on investment, according to him. Plus, the legal shield provided by our laws makes it even more appealing. Argentina didn't want to grant Pfizer the immunity but offered all sorts of incentives, to no avail. They finally gave in and purchased 20 million doses. Unlike the US, some other countries don't grant that immunity to lawsuits. www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/3/11/investigation-pfizer-bullied-latin-american-nations

OK, but if vaccines work there is no threat of overburdening hospitals.

That's simple:
1. If you want to get vaccinated, get vaccinated. 2. If you don't, don't. 3. Whether or not you're vaccinated, if you feel safe going out in public, including mega events, go. If you don't feel safe, stay home and hide under your bed. 4. If you choose not to get vaccinated, don't expect me to stand on my head and jump through my asshole to make you feel safer. Your fear is not my problem to alleviate. 5. We are all adults and can make our own healthcare decisions. The federal government should go to hell on this issue, because it's not their choice.
I'm not sure that's a "side" of this argument, but it's a summary of how I feel about it.

And any business that does not accept unvaccinated customers or clients should bear the full brunt of the free market. If they survive and profit, great. If they go out of business, even better.
