If I hear one more time that "it's time to have a serious conversation about racism in this country", I'm going to lose it. We've been having that serious conversation for 160 years, and there is not much more to be said. The sad truth is that some people have hatred in their hearts, and no amount of discussion or legislation is going to change that. All you can do is prosecute them when they act on it.

Hard to prosecute them when you've got unions running cover for them.
But we don't want to go THERE, right?

Hard to prosecute them when you've got unions running cover for them. But we don't want to go THERE, right? Unions are a problem in getting rid of not only bad cops but bad teachers and all other manner of bad government employees. They've also done plenty to alienate professional athletes from their fan base. Having said that, has anyone put forth any evidence that Derek Chauvin is a racist? Or any other particular police officer who has shot an armed or unarmed black man? Of the other three cops arrested and charged as accessories today, one was Asian and another Hispanic. Were they acting on racism? The point I'm trying to make is that this blanket assertion of "systemic racism" that's being widely directed at the police is nonsensical without naming names. If we are going to blithely assume that there is systemic racism in policing then it would follow that there is systemic racism in EVERY profession; why would racism be unique or more prevalent in law enforcement? Therefore every profession and person in America needs to be indicted and reformed to cleanse themselves of their unconscious and unadmitted systemic racism. The problem with this idiotic assertion of nameless and faceless systemic racism is that if everyone is racist then no one is racist. Do you see where this is all going? As MDDad stated, you can only weed out, fire, or prosecute actual and proven cases of racial discrimination. But there's no money or political favor to be gained in that simple common sense approach, thus the ridiculous and endless loop of outcry and non-solutions we find ourself in today.

This entire manufactured outrage over George Floyd is about nothing more than political power and downstream financial graft.

Having said that don't you think that shooting an unarmed black man or kneeling on his neck until he's dead might be evidence of racism to some people? Or do you mean OTHER evidence? On your statement about the non-white officers...are you suggesting that only white people can be racists?

This entire manufactured outrage over George Floyd is about nothing more than political power and downstream financial graft. The fact that you think black people "manufactured" their outrage speaks volumes about your ignorance of this issue, and Thomas Sowell appears to be suffering from dementia. What's your excuse?

Despicable shaming.
They should have just covered the "B" with an "A" for All Lives Matter.

Tucker Carlson lays out the real data showing that the entire premise of systemic racism in policing is a complete fraud, no less imaginary than "Hands up, don't shoot!"

The fact that you think you made a good argument with this post illustrates how blind you are to the problem.
How often do you think it's ok for a police officer to kill an unarmed black male? Do you expect police officers to exhibit the same criminality that's exhibited by the general public?
