What exactly is your complaint? Don't you think the company who publishes the Dr. Seuss books have a right to decide what to publish? |

Sure you did...you're complaining about the people who decided to not publish six of the good Doctor's books. You're trying to make this about "the left" when it was simply a business decision by the publisher of his books. Look at the thread you posted in...this has nothing to do with anyone being "cancelled". The books didn't sell and they contained questionable imagery, and I have no problem at all with the publishers decision. 2. I'm sure you don't think a picture of an Asian man with slits for eyes is racist in any way....right? Well, I think the notion that Dr. Seuss' works contained NO racist overtones to be "utterly ridiculous". All you have to do is look at his work...but I don't suppose you did that. I do agree that a half-way intelligent being might agree with your point of view. |

It would have been more racist to draw him with round European eyes. If there is an African-American character in a Dr. Seuss book, is it racist to draw him black? How did accuracy suddenly become racist? |
