2. I'm sure you don't think a picture of an Asian man with slits for eyes is racist in any way....right? Asian men DO have slits for eyes. It would have been more racist to draw him with round European eyes. If there is an African-American character in a Dr. Seuss book, is it racist to draw him black? How did accuracy suddenly become racist? How is that racist in any way? Racism: 1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. 2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race. Drawing a caricature of a different race is not racist in any way unless it shows that race in a demeaning or prejudicial way. What a moron it is!

So is there no difference between stereotypes and racism?
“Asians are good at math” is both a stereotype and complimentary toward Asian peoples (who doesn’t want to be good at math?) but somehow that’s racist?
We’ve achieved new levels of asinine.

I'm sorry, I didn't make the connection...then again I'm not delusional. No, you’re garbage. Oh snap. What an intelligent and mature response.

How did accuracy suddenly become racist? I see little point in discussing this issue with you since you're intent on being ignorant. You're obviously a typical Austrian...getting fat sitting around in your lederhosen swilling beer from a stein while you wait for the Nazi's to show up so you can welcome them...that's the proper and accurate way to portray you in a children's book...right?

We’ve achieved new levels of asinine. Indeed.

It seems that conservatives just want to bitch about things being "cancelled" regardless of the reality of the situation. Dr. Seuss has 30 books on the best-seller list today but here you are complaining about the treatment he's getting from his publisher and how he's being "cancelled". Too funny. Has it occurred to anyone besides myself that the publisher may have had an idea of how to take their poorly-selling titles and make them work for them by making this announcement? Is there any other reason to make this announcement publicly?

I found VP on Twitter:
OK, probably not it, specifically, but someone equally bereft of logic and sense as it.

Once again, the hypocrisy of the left is glaringly apparent. Amazon can choose to ban books from conservative authors, while continuing to sell Mein Kampf, The Communist Manifesto and Chairman Mao's Little Red Book, because they are a private business. Facebook and Instagram can censor and ban conservative members, while continuing to allow radical Muslim extremists to post their hatred, because they are a private business. But a baker in Colorado can't refuse to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple when it goes against his religion, even though it's a private business.

There is going to be a reaction against the PC/cancel culture, and that right soon. When it's getting to the point that Abraham Lincoln, Dr. Suess and Tom Sawyer are being villainized, a blowback of commonsense is inevitable.
Pretty much everybody is getting outrage-fatigued and the entire concept is becoming a source of humor, which is always a bad sign for your cause...........
Dr. Suess? Like they couldn't have picked a more asinine target to make themselves look foolish?. ......Luca

When it's getting to the point that Abraham Lincoln, Dr. Suess and Tom Sawyer are being villainized, a blowback of commonsense is inevitable. I hope you're right. My concern is that your opinion, like mine, stems from many past years of experience when common sense still carried a preponderence of weight. So many of today's citizens have been brainwashed by the education system and the media since they were five years old that I wonder how much common sense they have in the tank.
