I was thinking MDDad looks like an angry child trying to play "gotcha" rather than participate in the discussion. If it floats your boat assume that I meant "murder" when I wrote 'homicide. Carry on.

What other manslaughter do you think he could get? Involuntary? Possibly. Whatever the DA decides to accept as a plea. Edit: It seems that WI has changed their statutes since I went to school. My statute book is out of date. They've replaced their "Voluntary Manslaughter" charge with Second Degree Intentional Homicide.

Go back to TOB where everyone posts lame excuses like that.

Or do you want to continue down the same rabbit-hole as shit-for-brains went down?

People have been trying to make that specious argument for at least fifty years...of course they used to blame long hair and rock-and-roll music too.
Does Buck have any solutions to this "problem" or just complaints about something he understands little about? What does he mean by "accepting fatherless and broken families"? How are we supposed to not "accept" them?

How are we supposed to not "accept" them? He is not talking about rejecting them. He is talking about raising standards so that fathers stay in the home and raise their children and teach them values and responsibilities.

I guess Mr. Rittenhouse isn't all that anxious to face justice... Kyle Rittenhouse appears in court virtually in Kenosha protest shooting case; attorneys to fight extraditionRittenhouse appeared virtually at 9 a.m. Friday from the juvenile detention center, sitting in front of a white cinder block wall, wearing a dark gray sweater and a blue face mask. He spoke only once to say "Good morning, your Honor."
His attorneys said they planned to fight the extradition to Wisconsin and asked for more time to review evidence and the extradition paperwork.
The Antioch teen will remain in the detention center until his next hearing Oct. 9.abc7chicago.com/kyle-rittenhouse-faces-extradition-hearing-in-kenosha-protest-shooting/6554072/Hard to imagine what grounds he could have to challenge the extradition.

Oh..is that all we have to do? What does that even mean? You are not genetically qualified to understand or comment on what is involved in being a father. Keep to your areas of expertise - cooking, fashion, that sort of thing.

How are we supposed to not "accept" them? What you call a "specious" argument is 100% true today--and was 100% true fifty years ago. What we are now seeing in the streets today are the fruits of ignoring that wisdom for two full generations. Simple solutions: 1. Don't have children out of wedlock 2. If you get married, stay married. 3. Fathers, be faithful to your wives and teach your children to be honorable, to respect authority, and to do the right thing. For all kinds of reasons some of these will not happen in all cases, which is nothing new in the history of man. But the more this is done, the less problems any society will have. Anyone can understand this.

Anyone can understand this. I call it a specious argument because it never goes anywhere...how do you propose we implement these great simple solutions? Who gets to participate in these wonderful families? (I'm guessing you'd prefer not to include gay people) You heterosexuals are the ones with the 50% divorce rate, and the ones making babies out of wedlock...can't blame the gays for that. How do you eliminate all the divorce? I'm sure dave would like to know what he did wrong. Be sure also to tell all those abused women why they have to stay married to their abusers. Are you going to be the one who enforces the no sex out of wedlock rule? How? Your church thing seems to be getting less popular, so your methods remain unclear. What's your plan?
