He WAS shot 7 times in "non-lethal" spots, otherwise he would be dead. He's not. Also, I suspect that he could have been hit in a lethal spot in the leg (a main artery, perhaps?) causeing him to bleed out before help arrives. Luca? Come on, man, let's not get silly. Too late. You really should listen to all these suggestions, after all these guys watch cops on TV every day, they must know what they're talking about. Right?

Wow - talk about rush to judgement by the Kenosha DA on Rittenhouse. The Carlson video is worth a look as it clearly shows a MUCH different intent by Rittenhouse than what's been portrayed.

Why do you assume the DA hasn't seen this footage? If they haven't, why hasn't Mr. Carlson shared the video with them rather than air it publicly?

Could it be that the Kenosha DA is a spineless Democrat that rushed to judgement instead of rushing to justice?

He was charged with M1 within 48 hours of the incident. I believe the DA would have seen this video since that time as I doubt it was "in the can" at the time of the incident. We'll see just how strong the case is if / when it goes to trial. My sense is the DA brought max charges against the kids in order to attempt to keep the peace.

I think you're probably right...now tell that to your friends who seem to think the DA is just some wacky Democrat.

Well, since it's being reported that he didn't cross state lines with the gun (it was given to him by someone in WI) I think you're way off. At the very least I suspect he'll be found guilty of Reckless Endangerment, but I think it likely that he'll plead out to manslaughter of some kind.

If you’re pleading out to voluntary manslaughter over reckless endangerment, you’re either a moron or you have a terrible attorney

Also, Prosecutors always overcharge because you’re only able to reduce, not increase.

Oops, maybe you both should learn how to read. You do know how to read don't you?
"At the very least I suspect he'll be found guilty of Reckless Endangerment, but I think it likely that he'll plead out to manslaughter of some kind."
Does it say "voluntary" anywhere in my post?

If you’re pleading out to voluntary manslaughter over reckless endangerment, you’re either a moron or you have a terrible attorney If you think someone would plead UP to Voluntary Manslaughter from Reckless Endangerment you're a terrible attorney. I was thinking he was charged with Homicide and will later be allowed to plead to Manslaughter. Note I didn't say anything about "voluntary" or otherwise.

What other manslaughter do you think he could get? Involuntary?

I was thinking he was charged with Homicide and will later be allowed to plead to Manslaughter. I was thinking VP should stop commenting on legal matters, because his ignorance becomes blinding when he tries to act like he knows what he's talking abut or forgets to google. Manslaughter is homicide. Homicide is the general term that comprises both manslaughter and murder, as well as legal killing such as military combat, accidents, euthanasia (where it's legal) and lethal injection of a convicted felon (where it's legal).
