Back in 2020 I bought a bunch of canned roast beef from Costco. After that, they ran out and I haven't seen that since. I think the famine could last years, if we go into one. Most of the grain is used to feed animals, and many farmers say they wont grow this year because of higher fertilizer costs (hopefully oil and NG goes back down). So if there isn't a shortage of meat this year, there will likely be shortages in the years to come. Let's Go Brandon....

I'm reading supply chain will be impacted thru Q3 at a minimum, but haven't heard that it's going to be any worse than current for the most part on meat.

I think we may have some RW fear mongering going on. GOP would never do that, right?

I'm reading supply chain will be impacted thru Q3 at a minimum, I think it will begin to be impacted in the Q3. I think it is slightly impacted already. The price of petro is a huge problem. We need that for fertilizer. Most of that is used for grain for meat. Some farmers are taking the year off because they fear they can't afford to compete. Why lose money?

Perhaps the most perplexing mystery about The Great Reset is why in the world anyone would buy "a bunch of canned roast beef". Isn't that another name for dog food?

As per the canned beef: When you go to a restaurant, most used canned chicken, beef, etc. I was at a Mexican restaurant and they didn't have a ground beef burrito, just beef or chicken. They pop it out of a can and make a burrito.

When you go to a restaurant, most used canned chicken, beef, etc. That's just not true, unless you patronize some very low-end restaurants.

Hell, I've never seen it on a supplier order guide except for Spam and tuna.
