At least there was one man, one leader whom you hardly if at all supported in the least tried to get ALL of our NUTS out of the hands of the CHINESE. Please don't misrepresent my positions. I'm on record as having supported the majority ot Trump's policy initiatives. It was his arrogant, petulant, childish behavior that I couldn't tolerate. Ultimately your vote is your voice correct...? For whom did you support with your vote...?

Ultimately your vote is your voice correct...? For whom did you support with your vote...? (A) That's none of your business. (B) As I've said several times, we have the great luxury in this state of having our presidential vote be meaningless, so we can vote our conscience without any electoral impact. (C) I sure as hell didn't vote for the star of Weekend At Biden's.

This was known, or at least strongly suspected over a year ago when Dr. Lieber (Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard) and some Chinese nationals were discovered and charged... b ut the media gave it little or no space. NOTE, charges against them DO NOT state any of them assisted in the development of the Wuhan (COVID-19) virus. From the DOJ (contains a link to the actual charging documents): HARVARD PROFESSOR AND TWO CHINESE NATIONALS CHARGED
No one, other than liberal drones, believes anything other than the virus originated in Wuhan, although some people whom I believe to be well-intended, but misinformed DO NOT believe the Chinese deliberately spread it world-wide. This topic is dominating the airwaves, almost all signs now point to the virus (Covid-19) originating from the WUHAN LAB.
Really? Which signs would those be? Which signs don't point to the lab? Do you have any idea or are you just spouting nonsense? Here's an idea...why not wait until AFTER they investigate before you come to any conclusions...or do you just like spreading BS? The above would be one such sign...

So what if it's proven that Covid was engineered in a lab in China? What then? I listened to a half-hour segment on the radio yesterday about what the United States should do to China if it's proven. Are you kidding? They are four times our size, own half our national debt, and almost everything we buy is produced there, including most of our medicines. It's like asking what a chihuahua would do if a pit bull had it by the throat. If we helped fund it via NIA grant, then we are to blame for millions of deaths too. The Fauci Flu is partially our fault too.

Though, if proven true, doesn't it mean that America is complicit since we funded the thing? It appears we provided several million dollars for it, but I wonder who else is responsible? I hope it wasn't just us.

Josh Hawley mentioned this mid last year. In one interview I saw last year, he was determined to make sure the US quit funding this research. Obama signed the executive order to stop GOF research (2014??). Fauci found a way around it, according to documents presented in the Senate last week. This week Fauci said he wasn't sure if the money for Wuhan was used for this specific research. These are baby steps. The original grant was for 3.7 million. Fauci and Collins claims 600K went there. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9618623/Fauci-NIH-confirm-600-000-public-money-went-Wuhan-two-weeks-Rand-Paul-row.html'You are entirely and completely incorrect,' Fauci told Paul at the heated hearing. 'The NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute.' -------------------------- But then Rand Paul had grant documents for EcoHealth Alliance which did give money to Wuhan for the research. Then Fauci told Paul that the grants were within Federal Law. Sure it was. (CNSNews.com) - NIH Director Francis Collins confirmed Tuesday that that the National Institutes of Health approved $3.7 million in taxpayer funds to the non-profit group EcoHealth Alliance, which in turn sent $600,000 to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is suspected to be the source of the coronavirus. cnsnews.com/article/washington/melanie-arter/nih-director-francis-collins-confirms-nih-sent-funds-ecohealthFauci facing calls for resignation after shifting positions on probe of Wuhan lab nypost.com/2021/05/26/fauci-facing-gop-calls-for-resignation-amid-wuhan-lab-controversy/At the center of the storm is Peter Daszak, whose EcoHealth Alliance has worked directly with Chinese coronavirus scientists for years. The scientist has been pilloried by Republicans and lost National Institutes of Health funding for his work. He gets floods of threats, including hate mail with suspicious powders. In a rare interview, he conceded that he can’t disprove that the deadly COVID-19 virus resulted from a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology — though he doesn’t believe it. health.wusf.usf.edu/health-news-florida/2021-05-25/in-search-of-covids-origins-scientists-reignite-debate-on-wuhan-lab-leakDaszak loved the Coronavirus, he told an interviewer before the outbreak. They are easy to manipulate in GOF research. The puzzle pieces point to Fauci and Daszak and Wuhan. But of those culpable, Fauci stands out as someone that should have been trusted. But he let us down and millions of people died.

Agreed, although many of us here on this Conservative chat room shared this business.(B) As I've said several times, we have the great luxury in this state of having our presidential vote be meaningless, so we can vote our conscience without any electoral impact. With a little less "conscience", maybe Conservatives would win more elections. The other side doesn't seem to let that get in their way.(C) I sure as hell didn't vote for the star of Weekend At Biden's. Well by deduction of candidates not named but assumed, your vote was still "meaningless" I suppose.

This thread has devolved into a surreal mess. Fauci will probably be remembered as a dedicated public servant...at least by those who use reason and logic...I have no idea what the MDDad's of the world will think nor do I think it matters a great deal.

Reading a comment like this, I can only assume you limit your understanding of Dr. Fauci to headlines from The NY Times. It is sadly mistaken.

While what I think of Fauci may not matter a great deal, it is based a lot on what I've been told by someone who has known him professionally for over 30 years. I think that trumps those lofty opinions of him based on CNN and N.Y. Times puff pieces.

Plus, let's start digging around into what the guy did concerning the trusted taxpayer money.
