From the teams I've seen, Bosco, Los Alamitos and Mater Dei should be the favorites at Edison, but watch out for Rancho Cucamonga. They are very athletic and very good. Poly should be tough with their xfer Q from Warren and a 4* WR USC commit |

SK, be careful what you ask for. Not asking unless you believe message boards are open invitations or requests. Nico is a warrior, 4 or 5 star recruit, he will be gunning for everyone on this stage, some of the best talent in the country will be on field at Edison. Yes Edison, think they might be motivated to play CDM? Los AL? Early Sunset field fodder.....? With a field like this don't think anyone needs extra motivation.... If we were in Vegas, what would be odds of a MD vs SJB final? I think I might bet the field on that..... |

Bosco won't be in the finals for the Edison 7v7 tourney.

The St. John Bosco tournament is over.
Mater Dei went 3-0 in morning pool play. They beat Simi Valley 23-0, Carlsbad 23-7, and Servite 32-7. Servite scored first and then Mater Dei ran off 32 straight points, including two picks on defense. Revenge for the loss at Millikan.
In the afternoon playoffs, Mater Dei beat San Clemente, 28-0. Then in a rematch with Servite, the Friars again scored first before the Monarchs ran off 23 straight, with another pick on defense. In the other semifinal, Carlsbad beat Bosco 16-14. Quite a shock for the Braves.
In the championship game, Mater Dei beat Carlsbad 21-14.

Mater Dei and Corona del Mar are in the same pool of five next week and will play each other in the first game of the morning.
