Meanwhile here's what the people left behind get to deal with. Shocking they'd be so desperate to get out of there as to hang onto an airplane.

Allegedly, there is a resistance movement led by the “former” Afghani Vice President and they’re actually taking land back from the Taliban.
No major news outlet has picked this up yet…

Like I said, alleged. I’ve seen it reported Twitter for two days now, but no “legitimate” sources besides those inside Afghanistan.

It was always going to be chaotic. Nothing to see here.

And your implying that these were Afghan refugees who committed all these crimes? You're disgusting.

This is a different perspective with which I do not agree, but we should be aware that it is out there. I will appreciate thoughts from those who read more than just the headline (and will continue to ignore he who only reads the headline). Afghanistan: The Great Facade — Analysis by a Combat Veteran
I have several problems with this paragraph: - No one uses the term "Neocon" anymore. It is at least a decade obsolete and only used the last 5 years by progressives and ardent haters from the left;
- I agree some of the blame is on the republicans, but definitely not all of it. As we have said here, several times, Democraps and Republicans are two sides of the same coin.
- O.K., maybe ALL the blame cannot be put on Biden. Partly because I still believe he was told what to do, but mostly because this is how it was going to end regardless of ho pulled the trigger (as Russia showed us, and as we've discussed elsewhere); but
- it WAS Biden, after all, who pulled the trigger, without, apparently, considering the circumstances or the timing. Pulling troops out before evacuating American citizens; troops leaving armament and weapons/ammunition behind; no resistance as the Taliban took other major cities... all was pretty much a cluster*ck of unorganized pandemonium...
