If they woulda gone with top 10 seeds, D2 would be lit up across the board by one possession games. Take the two pseudo pro type teams out and you have the next best Edison and OLU that played to a 2 point game.
Im excited for the Warren game, exactly the kind of game you hope for, TOP 4 QB 2023, Alabama, USC, Ohio Start riddled if offers, will be a great coaching and player challenge. Agree on the pick 'em, its the better team vs the best player, can the better team slow, contain enough the best man on the field, if so the team can win. On the road don't make it any easier.
Someone please STOMP and CHOP some WOOD!

If I'm Sierra Canyon I wouldn't want to play JSerra again. Do think that OLu is a step too far for Simi Valley-despite the miracle Jim Benkert has performed at a school where .500 was a good year for the 50 years before he arrived. Frankie, OLU has played a SOS of 59.2 while Simi 14.6 , their best win is over Saugus which I have heard some good things about.... , outside that their schedule does not resemble anything like the one OLU has played regardless of W/L agree. OLu is a step too far for this Simi Team. If Benkert stays it won't be in a couple of years. |

 If you didn't see any of this game it was a "classic", everything you could ask for in a evenly matched playoff game. I kinda called it I think here as well, will the best team or the best player get the "W"? The best team got the "W" as they basically took out (fair & square) the best player in 6'6" Jr. QB Nicholaus "Nico" Iamaleava the #4 ranked QB class of 2023. (Kid has them all, Alabama, USC, Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia etc.) My only underassessment was that Warren was a better team than I expected even in his absence. His younger brother, a freshman standing 6'5" had to take over, he got knocked out as well. Warren ran out of gas as CDM scores 21 points in Q4 in thrilling fashion.
