You can't even understand what I posted...pathetic.
I saw Bill Maher's take on his show from last week...every once in awhile Bill gets it wrong...this is one of those times. I'm really not worried about people taking up arms when they're busy ordering food delivered from Taco Bell and purchasing cars from vending machines...our citizens are too fat and lazy to want to go to war.

I have to agree. This thread is drifting a little out there in right field.
I am hereby canceling the revolution. I’m too damned busy to throw, let alone make, a Molotov cocktail. I’ll speak truth to power and all that when I get the chance, but I’ve been getting home too late.
Besides, the snowflakes are going to melt once they realize they’re too busy and have to work, also................Luca

Bill Maher, one of the most antagonistic and vituperative smart asses of the current millennium telling us we all need to "learn to live with each other." This is like Muhammad Ali lecturing us on the virtue of humility, Bezos on the need for philanthropy, the Kardashians on the importance of authenticity...............................Luca |

Who said anything about shooting each other. You've seen the riots and violence that happens if a Conservative dares to make an appearance be it a speaking engagement, a parade, a book signing, a fund raiser, or to show of support for one of their causes. It's only gotten worse, and if 2020 doesn't turn out the way the Left wants...……….watch out.

However, Duke, it seems that that kind of behavior is mostly happening on university campuses. You are dealing with people who are not fully mature, not fully educated, and certainly not very experienced.
Unlike their professors, most of these people I believe will mature eventually and realize they do not have a right to suppress opposing opinions, nor a right to go berserk when they encounter them. It's called "growing up." We've all done it in the past, just a little bit sooner than the current generation of teen and twenty-something pseudo-intellectuals.
I cannot believe some of the nonsense I embracedwhen I was in college simply because it sounded virtuous and righteous, and by accepting it I was therefore myself virtuous and righteous.
As the Bard said:"Ah, but I was so much older then/ I'm younger than that now."

But, if that rioting and violence takes place on MDDad's street, and his house is among the ones being vandalized, and assaulted by a rabid crowd, I tend to think gunfire is a real possibility, from the crowd and from MDDad's well armed neighbor. Anyone disagree with that? |
