Maybe use 30 as the SOS baseline, and then apply that ratio to their QBR? Would need to see ints also.

The Orange County football season stat leaders through the Week 5 games. (Leaderboards are based on season stats available each Monday morning.) PASSING: TOP 10 NAME, SCHOOL YDS CMP-ATT TD Ethan Garbers, Corona del Mar 1764 118-172 24 Kyle Kyckelhahn, Aliso Niguel 1738 97-159 18 Ryan Zanelli, La Habra 1449 87-152 16 Bryce Young, Mater Dei 1272 86-117 14 Vince Hourigan, Canyon 1221 78-165 10 Sean Lindgren, Tesoro 1221 95-147 18 Noah Fifita, Servite 1219 78-110 18 1412 94-134 19Jake Carreon, St. Margaret’s 1178 89-152 5 Hudson Jones, San Juan Hills 1163 90-137 11 Isiah Del Toro, Western 1143 85-134 12 Fifita's stats did not include Notre Dame game (16/24 for 193 yds 1 TD). FIFY by only adding those numbers. (I ignored the fact that the figures for the first four games are questionable).

Raw figures such as passing yards and touchdowns can be misleading. Perhaps a better indicator of a quarterback's efficiency is their passer rating. Below are the ten quarterbacks listed above with their NCAA passer ratings and strength of schedule played thus far. I think the logical conclusion would be that Young, Garbers and Fifita have been the cream of the crop.
Rating SOS Bryce Young, Mater Dei 202.6 60.9 Ethan Garbers, Corona del Mar 197.3 24.5 Kyle Kyckelhahn, Aliso Niguel 188.9 3.9 Noah Fifita, Servite 179.7 39.1 Sean Lindgren, Tesoro 172.1 4.5 Ryan Zanelli, La Habra 170.7 37.4 Hudson Jones, San Juan Hills 160.6 24.8 Isiah Del Toro, Western 160.2 -11.1 Jake Carreon, St. Margaret's 149.6 3.8 Vince Hourigan, Canyon 122.2 6.8

PF, alert the OCV guys... I don't think it's their fault. Servite is not keeping up the stats like they should. It's pathetic.

Bryce Young's numbers are also minus the Servite game. Neither team has entered stats on MP....., this is where they likely get their info. It would be prudent for them to "check" that and add the recent week if the teams have not yet done so. For those whom just don not, Servite? Los Al! Not sure who is gonna track down all your numbers. OCV should either just claim "according to Maxpreps" the season stats are..... If they are not and gonna but their stamp on it they better fact check.

So is Noah Fifita going to be considered the top QB in Orange County next year--or at least the top returning starter in the Trinity League?
