Obviously this strain of flu is running or on the run around the globe but it seems to be a type that only really knocks the sick, elderly or those with existing respiratory issues..... certainly more will come to light in the coming weeks. Until then like my old buddy Ralph Lawler use to say, "Fasten Your Seatbelt"!

From what I have read, anyone with a non-compromised immune system has nothing to fear from the Corona virus other than a fever, discomfort and possibly the runs. That means everyone on this board with the exception of Vile Pagan could get the Corona virus and probably not miss a day of work.
I'm not really worried...

But it would be a completely different story should any if us get infected through these threads with West Vile Virus of the Pagan strain......

I agree with everything you said except the red part. After talking to my doc about it, it seems that missing two to as many as five days of work is to be expected. First, because you feel like crap, and second because you don't want to spread it around. Otherwise, I'm about as worried about the corona virus as I am about an asteroid strike.

Yeah, that’s what the dinosaurs said (I mean except for the Corona Virus part),

Damn, she's just the gift that keeps on giving, ain't she?
Poor girl, she's using a 17-year-old version of Norton, so it probably won't catch a 2020 virus.

Ahhh. It was OUR biological weapon.
For those of you who don't read farsi...
Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, who has previously vowed to "cleanse the planet from the filth" of Israel and the U.S., according to The Jerusalem Post, made the comments in the same engagement in which he praised Qassem Suleimani, who ran the IRGC's elite Quds Force until he was killed in January by an American drone strike while in Iraq.
The Iranian Student's News Agency reported Salami said that the virus may be the product of an "American biological invasion," according to a rough translation of the comments through Google translate. The news outlet also included Salami's comments in a tweet posted early Thursday morning, U.S. time.

This is just too good to pass up. If Major General Hossein Salami married Suqma Baloney, what would their children be called?

The Iranian Student's News Agency reported Salami said that the virus may be the product of an "American biological invasion," according to a rough translation of the comments through Google translate. The news outlet also included Salami's comments in a tweet posted early Thursday morning, U.S. time. There was a premise being floated by third-tier, conserva-blogs that a Harvard Chemist PhD, who had done work in their “bio-weapons lab” for our DoD was arrested... all of which, so far, is true. Two or three Chinese chemistry students at Boston University were also arrested at the airport, one of whom is an officer in the Chinese army, for trying to get out of the country with lab samples... all of which is also true. The Washington Post article and other sources state that the above are facts, BUT the Harvard Chair of their Chemistry department was arrested for failing to disclose funds he received from China (which, as having received money for his DoD projects, he is required to do), and the Chinese nationals were detained (they are now back in China) for trying to steal cancer specimens. The “but” is multi layered. it was reasoned by the third tiered conserva-blogs that - The Harvard professor actually hybridized the new Corona Virus from an existing virus and HIV
- HE received the funds from China for overseeing the construction of a top Lab... in Wuhan (which, turns out, might or might not be true)
- The Chinese nationals were caught THIS time, but were successful at sneaking out bio-weapon samples previously...
- The novel Corona Virus was, indeed, developed in the Harvard Bio Weapons Lab and sold to China to produce (and test) in Wuhan from where it escaped and now infects the world.
how much is true and how much is deflection or out and out falsehood? i don’t know... but apparently Snopes does
so, the question is, do you trust Snopes?
