The Bill and Melinda Gates marriage is dead at age 27. God, I feel so sorry for Melinda. She's probably never worked a day in her life, and now she'll have to look for a job.

She was one messed up chick. In my mind, she'll always be remembered for two things: Having an affair with O.J. while he was married to Nicole, and beating the hell out of her husband, Angels pitcher Chuck Finley, with one of her high heeled shoes.

In my mind, she'll always be remembered for two things: Having an affair with O.J. while he was married to Nicole, and beating the hell out of her husband, Angels pitcher Chuck Finley, with one of her high heeled shoes. Chuck Finley was my next-door neighbor for a few years and Tawney Kitain lived with him, Rainey and Wynter (I think that was the older daughter’s name) briefly even after they were divorced. I didn’t get to know her really well but she seemed like a nice individual. Chuck Finley is a class act, by the way.
I always had the impression that Tawney was a little high strung. Chuck was a salt of the earth type of guy from Louisiana, but I always suspected she had a less than ideal early life. I feel bad for the two girls, especially Rainey................Luca

Never heard of him, but 37 is way too young!
Rest In Peace, Colt.

Another local who went way to early. Those of us from the OC Varsity days will remember him from his work with Steve Fryer on FryDay Night Lights doing his movie tie-ins back when HS football coverage was raging.
He really was one of the good guys.

Some of us knew Jim Fassel, a 1967 graduate of Anaheim High School who went on to NFL fame, and USFL fame as well. I knew his dad, Bud, who was the equipment manager at AHS, but Jim was a few years ahead of me, so I never got to meet him. Rather than post or link to a sports website, The following is tribute to him from the AHS Facebook page: Rest In Peace, Coach.
