Oh, and the Republican-appointed justices are better looking, too.

No, the Dems didn't boycott, but they all voted and then walked out, one by one.

We elect our congressmen and senators to represent us. It seems to me that a boycott is an intentional decision to refuse to provide that representation, so they should be removed from office, just like any employee who refuses to do his job. You mean like when Mitch McConnell refused to give Merrick Garland a vote? I'm guessing no, you're willing to give him a pass on that one....

They behaved like immature 5 year olds. But that's nothing new, they've been behaving like that since we sent them a message in 2016. Still butt-hurt over Hillary.

No, the Dems didn't boycott, but they all voted and then walked out, one by one. Any chance they don't come back?

CJ John Roberts, who previously has been the swing vote in joining with the liberals in some very high-profile 5-4 decisions (Obergefell, ObamaCare, etc.) will likely move back to the conservative side in order to avoid being a member of the perpetual minority on his own court.
That's yet another benefit of the confirmation of ACB--there is no "swing vote" any more. No more David Souter or Anthony Kennedy betraying the Constitution in order to substitute their own policy preferences.
Unbelievably big kudos to Trump and Mitch McConnell for getting this done so efficiently. I had my doubts they'd be able to pull it off. #NotTireOfWinning
