Unfortunately, this recall effort will likely prove to be a futile exercise. Defying all reason, Newsom still enjoys an approval rating of about 60% from the braindead California voters. Much like the popularity of Seth Rogen, some things are just impossible to explain.

Newsom is a pathological tyrant who is destroying millions of lives in the Golden State. He so incredibly inept and tone-deaf that he makes Gray Davis look good.
BTW, Bill Melugin is about the only television news guy in SoCal who deserves to be called a "journalist." That is, one who isn't a suck-up to the brainless Left.

Newsom is a weathervane who will point in whichever way the breeze blows. He will tell you he closed the playgrounds because of "science". I assume he opened the playgrounds the next day because the science changed. What a phony bastard.

This recall has legs. I believe it will get the signatures and will make the ballot in 2021. R or D, this man has trampled to many liberties, destroyed to many livelihoods.

It has a fair chance of making the ballot, but unfortunately it will not pass unless all of Texas moves to California and registers to vote.

It is a noble effort, but only of value to serve notice to the governor.
He has already survived other attempts because, as MDDad said, there are still way too many leftist lemmings trolling your ballot boxes, but even if there weren’t, Auntie Nancy’s corruption, Inc., will make sure he remains.
PLUS, remember he gets to appoint replacements for CA vacancies in the US Senate and House, and rumors are swirling he intends to appoint himself.

As many of you pointed out, the problem is the people who prefer leftist policies.
Smart money is leaving the state.
Maybe human nature is basically lazy, and willing to be "taken care of" instead of being self sufficient?
I wonder how many times in history the people being "taken care of" have successfully revolted from this.

California has about 22 million registered voters, and roughly 14 million of them support Gavin Newsom. While I want that scumbag removed as much as anybody, it's just not likely to happen. When it comes to voters, you can't fight stupid. |

Gavin Newsome has just allowed two of the greatest minds and tech companies leave the state, Elon Musk of Tesla and Space X, Larry Ellison of Oracle. Texas or Bust, California gonna go bust. If the electorate can't see the damage this incompetent imbecile has done to this state and by no means seems willing or ready to chase course, this recall will get even stronger legs. There is a massive amount of pent up anger in 2020, at some point people unleash.
