I do have to give you one thing: I don't think there's one city in California that would have elected Beetlejuice as their mayor. My goodness, she's hard to look at. |

Any one notice that D female politicians/TV talking heads tend to be butt ugly, with a few exceptions (Gabbard, Kirsten Powers come to mind, and some might find AOC to be attractive (she definitely has capitalist tastes in clothes)? To be fair-I suspect Harris wasn't ugly in her youth-that's why Willie Brown was happy to bang her.
In contrast R female politicians/talking heads tend not to be ugly...Haley, Noem, the women on Fox News, Kari Lake (next governor of AZ) all come to mind.

Marsha Blackburn wasn't ugly in her youth either-ever since she made it to the Senate she got better hairdressers. Same goes for Joni Ernst-leaving the military and a divorce - notice the upgrade on the hair/makeup side?

To be fair-Pelosi wasn't ugly in her youth either. We have to remember she's 80. Definitely ugly inside these days.

I can't help but question the methodology of that study. California has the highest (or close to highest) incomes taxes, property taxes, sales taxes and gasoline taxes in the nation, yet they are listed as the #8 most tax friendly state in the country. WTF?

O.K, then, how about THIS gem from our governor: Dave, Dave, Dave, you really must stop trying so hard. A stupid governor repeating what a stupid president said hardly moves the meter needle. We just extended our needless (and useless) mask mandate another month from Jan. 15 to Feb. 15, essentially sacrificing hosting the Super Bowl and costing thousands of small SoCal merchants tens of millions of dollars in badly need revenue. That's the kind of homerun you should be swinging for. |
