That’s the way it should be. Both brackets look pretty challenging to me. I still think the Trinity would have 3 of 4 in the semis but the match ups are more intriguing.

Bick, you're bringing in some very high profile kids. And with the addition of Orlando Scandrick as co-head coach, that will only increase. I hope you have an experienced army of CIF compliance guys, because the scrutiny is going to come.

I think DeAndre was the only real high profile kid that enrolled, and he moved back from NV after growing up in the area and playing youth ball with the other 2 in the OU photo. I'm guessing the 3 of them chatted at the OU BBQ this summer and thought it would be fun to play together the next couple years. The Bosco kids were buried on the depth chart, and we had another move from AZ.
Beyond wanting to play for a good public program, there's no tangible incentives being offered like preferential tuition scholarship, meals and transportation that privates have at their disposal. Not sure what anyone would do to bring someone in. We're a couple blocks away from the CIF office, so compliance would be on the forefront of our AD's mind.
Scandrick has been around for a few years now. I don't think he'll be doing much of the heavy lifting the other coaches do in terms of game prep, etc, and don't really see how he'd be much of a draw for potential xfers.
This is just one of those magical times that schools get periodically when the stars align. CDM had it in 2019. Los Al had it in '94 & '02, and now nearly 20 years later, it's our turn again. Now if we were in the D1 finals for the past 10 years, I think we might have something to worry about. Until that time, we're just going to enjoy the ride.

First time these coaches have had more than 2 players with ANY recruiting stars,and first time here at Los Al with a Power 5 offeree.
You had 3 of them for 3 straight years, and got to play for lower division championships.
We've got 5, and would be an upset to get out of the semis.

Wouldn't it be great if Old Sunset Fan had the stones to meet Coach Bible in person to back up what he posts anonymously on TOB?
He didn't take too kindly about what some of the jilted Bosco coaches were saying on the field to a couple kids that xfer'd to Los Al.
