Football Playoffs 2021

I'm in, but really don't feel all that bad.

That had to be one of the most fun, exciting games I've called at Los Al. What an atmosphere at Panish! Kupp...is it like that ALL the time? Just Mater Dei? Jam packed stands, standing room only around the end zone luxury suites, and some very excited parents.

We had the lead for about 7 seconds, but wow...what fun those 7 seconds. I thought the coaches got everything out of our kids, and we stood toe to toe with the #2 team in the country. At the end of the game, we put up more points on them than everyone else but Mater Dei.

I've never been big on moral victories, and while this David lost to Goliath, we hit him in the mouth first, and never backed down. One of my most proud days to be a Griffin.

Not even sure what he's trying to say, or what "old days" he's talking about. Large school / small schools...2 divisions?

Good thing the kids and parents see it differently.

Benefits the strongest teams playing the best football after week 10.

Eliminates the advantage / disadvantage created by the arbitrary way teams are grouped into leagues.

Groups & ranks teams according to their team strength that year, instead of a worthless CIF coaches pool.

(a) This is the best and most fair divisional placement and playoff selection system we've ever had, and

(b) It sure as hell ain't perfect.

There is no such thing....., likely see a few tweaks......, personally I thought it best to ALL play out first before one starts moving about the pieces.

Not a public / private thing. It's a poor separation of top group thing.

Draw the line under #4, and it's 3 out 4 publics in the semis of D2.

Cen10 was an eyelash from being in the finals, and will be there next year.
