 Im crying here. Angels are 1-6 on the season and the BEST thing I can say about their 11-4 loss last night to the Rangers is, Ausmus pulled Harvey at the right time but after he allowed 8 runs in 4 innings.. <wondering when the varsity team will get to play> Not smack talk, but you are not alone Dave. My Cubs are 1-5, and looking like doggy doo doo. |

It was a pretty creative play on words if I say so myself.
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim...I mean Anaheim Angels of Long Beach or is it Orange County Angels of Los Angeles County.
I know... Southern California Angels of Shoreline Drive. Better yet, California Angels? I know of a logo that would look good on a hat.

Yeah, Arte’s plan to rename the club in order to be a bigger market draw hasn’t worked out so well... There are still us fans who will go to games as we are able, regardless of what they are called (we still call them the Anaheim Angels, for the most part), but I will quit the team if they move out of Anaheim... JUST like I did when Georgia Frontierre showed me how little regard she had for us Rams fans. |

I’m not that knowledgeable about baseball but it seems to me this would be a fairly common sense response to the Infield shifts that are sometimes used.
In football when there’s an obvious all out blitz they throw swing passes and it doesn’t strike anyone as a stroke of genius. But bunting when there’s no one to the left of second base is sophisticated strategy?.............Luca
