So Yetts is already at MD. He's a good player. But a more talented 2nd one should be on the way. Hoping it does not happen. MD is already the most talented team. Hurts to say.

Where is this Yetts kid from and what year is he? Yetts is the Narbonne rb that transferred to MD. He's going to be a junior I believe? Had good numbers but not a ton of carries. Less heralded than JoJuan Collins at Narbonne.

(Gratuitous stirring of the pot; if this was TOB in 2018, Omar Bongo would be on speed reply in about eight seconds.)

Yes, Marceese Yetts has been at Mater Dei since June 24, almost three weeks. He will be a junior. And as for "a more talented 2nd one should be on the way", there are always done deal rumors that some superstar or another is transferring to Mater Dei. For every one that arrives, there are 19 done deals that are nothing more than smoke and never happen. This rumor is much the same. First it was Kendall Milton from Clovis Buchanan. Then it was Raleek Brown from Stockton Edison. Then Bijan Robinson from Tucson Salpointe Catholic. And finally it was Jaydn Ott from Norco/Bishop Gorman. None of those "done deals" have happened and probably never will.

Mater Dei has gotten one underclassman from Narbonne in the last generation and that makes Narbonne it's new farm team? Servite has gotten seven Mater Dei kids in the last few years, so what does that make the Monarchs?

Stunned Ott didn’t end up at Bosco
And I don’t speak on or create rumors about transfers. When I mention transfers, it’s fact. I do try not to mention names though.

You didn't see this type of move from private to public very often.
I might be very wrong, but it seems some parochials are tightening down their standards. Either that, or I'm just seeing what I want to see.

Either that, or I'm just seeing what I want to see. True, a private to public transfer isn't the norm but at this point isn't Mission Viejo a stronger program than SM? And there's Jason Negro protege Chad Johnson at MV perhaps starting to ramp up a South County public version of Bosco.

Makes sense. Good program for years at Edison with Dave White at the helm.

Based on early observations and player movement, it seems Bosco is the top dog this year. Mater Dei losing 2 key players now from the back end has to be concerning.
JSerra seems built to run, but is a clear drop-off from the top 2.
Servite is pretty young, but don't really know if they're significantly better or worse than OLu or SM.
In other words, it looks like there's not much change again in the Trinity beyond the 4-6 teams taking turns at #4
