Good Luck tonight SUNSET LEAGUE teams....! Run over the Rabbits @bick, we will try and keep pace with the Pumas and I'll even say the same for the other side of the bay guys against the Panthers!

Coach Dan O'Shea's name came up yesterday when talking about Mater Dei head coach job. It's arguably the top high school football job in America, and it only comes open once every 34 years, so EVERYBODY'S name has come up when talking about the job -- Matt Logan, Chad Johnson, Lenny Vandermade, Nick Saban, Bill Belichick, Lincoln Riley, Pete Carroll, Vince Lombardi, Pop Warner, Woody Hayes and a couple dozen more. Pretty much everyone who's every coached the game has been mentioned, whether dead or alive. Well, except for Troy Thomas. It's only been five days, and at this point it is all just silly conjecture. |

Los Al lost to Mater Dei 52-0. Amazing. The point spread in our pool was way lower.
Corona Del Mar didn't fare any better. They were beat by Yorba Linda 51 to 20.
Cypress narrowly beat Newport Harbor 17-14.
So locally for me, where I work, Los Al is gone but Cypress is still in there. Let's not talk about Kennedy...
Hey, but three Sunset teams made it this far.
