Was surprised to see Esparza want to leave Sierra Canyon to come to Los Al and compete with O'Neal.

I see Jaden O’Neal with the edge size and skill wise in limited playing time + 7v7. Jaden has the higher ceiling imho. The film on Esparza is impressive no doubt. He can clearly make all the throws. Smaller frame than Jaden. If Jaden stays and competes, Esparza would have to win the competition as well has the honor and respect of his team. Jaden carries himself with the upmost class and confidence in school and on the field. Could it be that Jaden may already have a destination calling down the street at Bosco? Is this maneuvering before loosing Jaden. What’s the word on their qb situation at BOSCO? Does coach Danny train both of these guys? Can’t wait to learn some more!

A move to Bosco means committee QB, and that seems to be perfectly OK for some players.
It's a different mindset being forced to constantly compete for reps.

As for the Griffins in '22, it was a neat experience being in D1 the past 2 seasons...even won a game there. ESPN, 3x Bally's GOW, 3x Bally's streaming...hell, we should've hired an agent! One thing is certain, our kids can't say they weren't exposed. Travel to Florida v. the Fl state runner-up and beautiful Bakersfield, hosted the AZ state champ, beat up on a couple Trinity teams, ran the league for the 3rd straight year, beat Poly, got thumped by MD. Heck of a ride for us.
Pretty sure we'll drop a division or 2. Pretty sure Edison will also...lots of seniors in the Sunset this year. Good year for the league as a whole.
