If Los Al continues spotting opponents 3 TDs each game, you're right. Won't beat anyone that way. LA will beat CDM...... Will break CDM’s league winning streak, going back before WWII...... PCL to Sunset?? Fake News is running with that.......

We're CDM fans this week...gives us a puncher's shot the last week of the season.

Friday's winner in the driver seat for the sunset crown. How you feeling SK80? Those lightning bolts feeling a little salty after last year. "How am I feeling"..., I don't know Bick by looking at the standings in the football pool I am not much of a handicapper So I'll stay away from a prediction! If you are fishing to get a feel of a spread, my Ukrainian server is down and I may this week have yo fall on my "Homer-ism" gut feel! The Bolts will be felling salty I do not doubt. Their dominance of Sunset has been challenged by a small school team that the league laughed at as an over-hyped PCL powder puff program. Last year in this match-up the puffs prevailed and everyone question Edisons strength and how it was a down year yada yada. Must be the powder blues won. This year CDM is at home, with an offense to date no body has stopped. I see Edison on par with SC and CDM handled them handily. I do think Edison is a bit better than projected and the Walters kid is tough. I do however believe that CDM defense has been over shadowed by the stellar offense in the news but watch the games and check the box scores. They have played extremely well. They are my key to the game, contain the broken play QB for Edison. If you can CDM wins big. Last year CDM let him get loose in the second half and he made a pretty good comeback for the Bolts.

#24 Liau was their best RB v. us, and Broyles has improved a lot at QB over last year. #18 Campbell is the counterpart to your Schlom. Should be a good game.

Remember the non-sense, lightening game......that’s why there is a HUGE asterisk next to CDM’s unbeaten PCL streak..... as regarding last year, CDM D got beat up,,,,with the undersized, chaos D,,,,,their coaches begging for an OL downfield call(pot calling kettle) was the difference.... ,and O was good.......not great..... Cant wait for Friday,,,,, go Los Al, beat HB and NH

Thankfully Edison enters stats to verify your assessment on Liau! 78 yards on 14 carries. (Not that I don't believe it being you an eye in the skybox!) Koffler seems to be the go to guy for Edison if I follow what the media portrays. Last year he had but 25 yards in receiving against CDM. I am going to guess your "Schlom" comparison is based on position or how the slot is played because I am not sure he would be a counterpart without a single TD catch this season. Bradley has TD total TD's and is averaging over 100 yards in receptions PER GAME! As for Broyles I thought he did well last year as a sophomore. At just 5-8 and 145 lbs! I remember his ability to make plays when the offense broke down. He was a surprise replacement if I remember, had a bad first couple games then went on to bring the Bolts to with a single score in three tough games against SC, CDM and LA. Here are his passer ratings so far this season: I see they platoon with a Jr. QB Hanlon. Looks like SC shut him down or he got hurt? Looking at his 134.5 QB RATE against Los Al. I see why you believe him to be improved..... Well we will find out how it plays out soon enough.

The Campbell / Schlom comparison refers to the other guys getting all the run, but both are really good WRs.

Read that CDM put up 200 on the GROUND last night, and only gave up 100 on D???
Geez... Our best hope in week 10 might be to hope for a lightning storm.

I was about to post that next..., kinda with the assumption that the Los Al Science Dept. is busy working on a lighting machine mobile enough to get to the Davidson Field parking lot in hopes of postponing the game

Trying to silence critics is pretty much an exercise in futility, but if it's important to you... 1. Win league, and you silence whatever critics there might be in league 2. Win the division, and you silence those critics But then if you win, you'll find the jealousy-based "critics" coming out of the woodwork. Just ask Rollo and Negro.

Not really. In CDM's case, they overstayed their time in the PCL, just as La Habra did in the Freeway, and racked up a bunch of titles against weak teams. Think about it, the worst team in the Sunset got their only win of the year routing one of your former league mates in the PCL. Now that you're doing it in a better league, you're getting noticed. You'll get even more run if you bring home the division title this year. And then NEXT year in Div 1/2, you can really show the critics what you're made of when you start beating those teams.
